Accreditation Process

Our accreditation process is structured to ensure transparency, rigor, and consistency across psychology and mental health education programs.

We do not provide training.
We evaluate educational institutions against defined academic and ethical standards.

Below is an overview of the accreditation pathway.

1. Preliminary Application

Institutions submit an initial application outlining:

  • Organizational structure
  • Program scope
  • Faculty qualifications
  • Delivery format
  • Learning outcomes

Eligibility is reviewed before proceeding to full evaluation.

Estimated response time: 5–10 business days.

2. Documentation Submission

Eligible applicants provide a comprehensive documentation package, including:

  • Curriculum and syllabi
  • Assessment methods
  • Faculty credentials
  • Ethical and quality assurance policies

Applications move forward once documentation is complete.

3. Preliminary Review

An internal compliance review confirms alignment with accreditation standards.
Additional clarification or revisions may be requested.

Estimated duration: 2–3 weeks.

4. Expert Evaluation

Independent subject-matter experts assess the program based on:

  • Academic rigor
  • Evidence-based content
  • Instructor qualifications
  • Learning outcome integrity
  • Ethical standards

Estimated duration: 4–8 weeks.

5. Accreditation Decision

A formal decision is issued:

  • Accredited
  • Accredited with Conditions
  • Deferred (Revisions Required)
  • Not Accredited

A summary evaluation report is provided to the institution.

6. Accreditation Term

Accreditation is granted for:

  • 1 year (provisional)
  • 3 years (full accreditation)

Accredited institutions may display the accreditation status and are listed in the public directory.

7. Renewal

Accreditation must be renewed prior to expiration through submission of updated documentation and program data.

Failure to renew results in expiration of accreditation status.
